Drilling Fluid Aging Cells for Roller Ovens in Gurgaon

Filtron Envirotech (India) supplies high‑quality stainless steel aging cells designed for use with roller ovens to evaluate the thermal stability and long‑term rheological performance of drilling fluids and cement slurries. These cells, also known as mud aging cells, are essential for simulating downhole conditions before field deployment. Our aging cells are manufactured in Delhi and exported to drilling fluid laboratories and research institutes worldwide.

Drilling fluid aging is a controlled process in which a freshly mixed sample is subjected to elevated temperatures and, optionally, dynamic rotation to replicate the thermal and mechanical history experienced in a wellbore. Aging allows viscosifiers, fluid loss additives, and shale inhibitors to fully hydrate and interact, providing realistic predictions of mud stability, gelation tendencies, and filtrate control. The process typically runs for 16 to 24 hours (or longer for specialty systems) at temperatures up to 250°C, depending on the cell rating. Our aging cells are available in 260 mL and 500 mL capacities, manufactured from 316 stainless steel with inert seals to prevent contamination. They are compatible with standard roller ovens and can withstand pressures generated during heating. Optional Teflon‑lined or Hastelloy cells can be supplied for corrosive or high‑salinity fluids. Each cell is pressure‑tested and supplied with a relief valve or rupture disc for safe operation. Proper aging helps determine optimal mud formulations, predict long‑term stability, and reduce non‑productive time in the field.
